Constructivism was a Russian avant-garde movement that emerged after the 1917 Revolution, treating art as a functional, constructed system rather than personal expression. Artists worked across typography, design, architecture, and mass media, using geometric forms and industrial aesthetics to serve collective social purposes.
Pravix draws from the functional nature of the movement and reenacts it through a grid-only approach and scarcity of elements to chose from. And yet in such a constrained system, letter shapes can be variated, individual characters start moving. Visual system pulsates, breaths--becomes generative.
